We are excited to announce a new partnership with the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles (BAFTA Los Angeles) to provide its members with a home on this “side of the pond”. The partnership will kick-off this September with a private BAFTA Clubhouse event at The London for new and renewing members, and the organization’s annual TV Tea Party on September 17 to celebrate achievements in Television. Along with serving as a formal location for signature events, BAFTA LA and The London will also curate special custom Clubhouse programming for members throughout the year including exclusive industry breakfasts, after-work gatherings and screenings.
Along with offering exclusive member benefits and events, The London will become a living gallery for iconic BAFTA photographic artwork and décor. Hotel guests and visitors will enjoy unique photographic images from the BAFTA photographic archives displayed in The London’s Screening Room Lobby. BAFTA inspired decor will be sprinkled throughout Boxwood’s cozy Sitting Room. Boxwood also plans to feature a signature BAFTA-named cocktail on their menu.
“The London West Hollywood at Beverly Hills has always been a wonderful tale of two cities, London and Los Angeles. BAFTA LA shares a similar storyline making a partnership with this prestigious arts organization seamless and ideal,” said General Manager, Jeff Kulek. “We look forward to welcoming and hosting local and visiting BAFTA members at their new home here at The London.”
