Not surprisingly, you’ll also find many female comics featured in their lineup, making this club a standout option any night. The Comedy Store

Conveniently located right here in West Hollywood, The Comedy Store is a can’t-miss experience. You’ll want to spend some time simply reading the countless names of everyone who is anyone and has played here scrawled across the outside of the building. The club of actually offers three rooms, so there’s always hilarious stuff happening somewhere inside. Regulars like Bobby Lee and Brody Stevens rotate with surprise headliners such as Sarah Silverman and Russell Brand. It’s also worth a stop at their scenic outdoor bar, overlooking iconic Sunset Boulevard.

 


 

The Comedy Union

Forget the fact that this is the first black-owned and operated comedy club in LA (although that’s pretty impressive). The Comedy Union features a never-ending list of urban, non-urban, and even family-friendly comics, with Damon Wayans known to be a regular. Offering a laidback, welcoming ambiance, this place is far from the typical LA club, with ticket prices in the $5-$15 range – and chances to win free tickets online offered daily. Check for shows and tickets in advance, as they often stay dark Sunday – Tuesday nights.

 


 

The Laugh Factory

Also right here in West Hollywood, The Laugh Factory churns hilarity out on a regular basis, with a lineup that includes the likes of Tim Allen, Whitney Cummings, Chris D’Elia, Dave Chappelle, and Kevin Nealon. Best of all they’re open nightly for lots of laughs any time you’re in town.
